8000 Totally Integrated Processing System

The IED 8000 is a small platform announcement control system that provides paging management, messaging, signal routing, signal processing, control and supervision, all configured in a single device. It is ideally suited for small facilities such as hospitals, distribution centers or transit stations where a single mainframe is desired. The 8000 may also be used as a distributed paging system for industrial facilities, government installations, or as local controller in an enterprise-wide system using one or more 510ACS’s.

Scalability

• The 8000 provides processing and control for 16+ paging stations and 64+ zones per 8000.
• Mainframe construction utilizes plug-in function cards for flexible configurations, ease of servicing and expansions.
• 8000’s may be networked as master-slave, peer to peer, or as slaves to a 510ACS.

• Dedicated CPU and standard redundant power supplies for high reliability.
• Audio processing capabilities includes paging management, audio routing, equalization, digital signal processing, ambient analysis control and digital gain management
• Control features include IED paging station control, zone management, logic inputs/outputs, voltage inputs/outputs, relays, serial and Ethernet
• Monitoring and supervision includes full internal frame testing and diagnostics, audio monitoring with automatic testing points, and speaker load supervision.
• Utilizes standard .wav files for messaging and supports IED assembled messages for incident specific messages
• Supports optional Visual Paging and TCAS Announcements.
