IED created the first integrated visual paging system in 1996 and was awarded a patent for the technology required to synchronize visual text with audio announcements. That early system has evolved into a complete suite of visual information systems suitable for transportation and other facilities requiring ADA compliance.

The suite of PRIZM Visual Information System applications has been designed to tightly integrate with IED Paging Systems using a common database and control architecture to ensure all information delivered is consistent and timely. Any information formats can be displayed on any suitable monitor or display installed in the system.

Visual Paging delivers text announcements on visual displays.
These visuals are synchronized with audio announcements playing in the same area and sized to provide compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Flight Information Displays (FIDS) keep the public informed throughout the general airport with critical flight information and status.

Gate Information Displays (GIDS) provide visual real-time gate boarding status and ADA compliance for boarding announcements.

Baggage Information Displays (BIDS) inform arriving passengers of baggage claim locations and baggage delivery status.
