Visual Paging works in conjunction with IED announcement controllers to provide improved customer service and ADA compliance with synchronized visual displays that match overhead announcements. All announcements and messages created by the announcement controller including FAS and TCAS may have a matching visual component. IED’s patented technology maintains aural/visual synchronization regardless of message length or language.

VP installations may include bulletin board displays. After a visual paging display completes an announcement, the display reverts to a bulletin board display which provides a continuous listing of active visual announcements.

Visual paging is a server application that distributes visual information to the data display controller via the Ethernet network. The DDC may be a PC, ThinNet PC or other graphical display controller for the display devices. Visual Paging may be added to any 510ACS or 8000 controlled system.
