IED Design Guides have been developed to assist engineers and contractors in designing IED systems for specific types of facilities. Contact your IED regional manager or the factory to receive IED design guides.

System Specifications

Typical System Specifications formatted to CSI formats are available for various types of systems. These specifications may be used as provided or as templates to customize specifications for specific facilities. It is highly recommended that users contact their regional manager or the factory prior to publishing or modifying these specifications to ensure use of the latest version and review of any changes. Changes to these specifications could adversely affect performance or result in incomplete systems.

Typical System Drawings

System drawings are one-line schematic drawings that illustrate system layouts for typical projects.

Drawing Symbols

Drawing symbols are available to aid in creating system drawings and documentation. AutoCad Symbols are compatible with AutoCad 2005. Visio Shapes are compatible with Visio 2007.
